With Summer approaching we need to reabsorb all that has been previously lost.

PHYSICAL WELLBEING PASSES THROUGH HYDRATION

70% of our body is made up of water. This percentage helps us understand how essential it is for our health to properly hydrate our bodies.

We must also consider that most of the total amount of water present in the human body is stored in muscles and internal organs.

Because of this, when hydration levels are low, our body is significantly affected by it, as it impacts the digestive process, the elimination of toxins, skin health, articulations, and much more.

Moreover, dehydration causes unpleasant symptoms, among which thirst is only a first indicator: it ranges from excessive sleepiness and headache to, in worse cases, delirium and loss of consciousness. If a condition of dehydration is prolonged, it can lead to severe complications such as cerebral oedema, convulsions, and renal insufficiency.

The benefits of proper hydration are countless.

Firstly, it facilitates the elimination of toxins and toxic substances by increasing the secretion of urine and sweat.

Moreover, it has an important thermoregulating function regardless of external temperature, it favours tissue elasticity and therefore is an essential ally from the aesthetic point of view.

Lastly, it plays a major role in lubricating the entire body, from articulations to the respiratory, digestive, and urinary systems.
